Look out Chevys the '67-72 Ford F-100's are coming to get you! We're starting a year long build of a '68 F-100 in our March issue that's going to be in friendly competition with the '72 F-100 being built by Custom Classic Trucks. We're trying to determine a deadline for next year to show case the trucks at, maybe the Americruise or possibly driving out to the Ft. Worth Goodguys show from Southern California. Work is already underway on both trucks and I just got done welding up the Fatman Fabrication Mustang II frontend in our '68.
Stay tuned for more and get ready to buck the Bow-Tie! We should have the Jimmy Smith renderings of both trucks by this weekend so look for those soon.

6. Hey Grant, I am a rookie at this website. But I always have loved 67-72 swb fords. I have a 67 and 68 I just bought last summer. So keep on working hard on your 68 and I'll try to get mine running. Can't wait to see it.

8. I am in the process of building a 1968 F100 Shorty Stepside and I am so glad that I picked up this magazine! I already have a single overhead 4.6 and now I want the truck to ride better and sit lower. Thanks so much for finally giving these trucks some recognition.

9. Grant I would like to stay in touch with you through your process. I am getting my Grandfather's 68 stepside long bed. I would be interested in parts and if I run into trouble areas in the restoration. Mine has a 360, just curious if your 68 has the same motor?

10. Hey there everyone Just picked up a 68 F100 ranger package and was wondering if any of yall have experienced problems with the rear drivers side drum being stuck to the axle. Also if any of yall are in Washington State know of any parts places in the seattle area I would surely apprieciate the help

11. Re: sticking drum. I bought a 77 F150 Ranger a few months ago. I had a similar symptom happening to me; I thought it was the wheel cylinder. It gradually loosened up after driving it daily. (It had sat alot before). "302/c4 auto" coffeehound2k@hotmail.com

12. I am a new member,just about 2 seconds ago,and boy am i glad. I just traded my dad out of his 68 f-100 ranger with a 390 in it. I traded my 94 f-350 deisel dully for it. I came across this web site,and what a better way to start my first project. thanks.

13. i just purchased a 68 sw bumpside.How did you guys know ? I will be following this build with alot of interest.My truck will be a long process of becoming my daily driver with many upgrades .

14. I am also a new memner. I just bought a 77 F100 Stepside 351ci. I am lost as far as finding parts. The enging, trans,brakes, heater core have all been replaced but there is cancer in the normal spots. Where do I start. I have to make sure the wife stays happy with this project also. Can anyone help? I can be contacted at gtracing02@yahoo.com. I am looking forward to seeing this awesome 68 f100 when it is finished.
