Non-Classic truck

So what if its not a vintage pickup..

but it makes for one good story anyways. Well i have my 2002 Chevy Silverado sitting in the driveway, its been there for a few weeks since gas prices out here are pretty much unbearable. I can't even fill my truck up for under $75. Well anyways im getting off topic... I go out to start my truck and nothing happens... I hear a click and thats about it. I tried this nifty battery charger I have laying around. I try again and still nothing. I came to the conclusion that i need a new battery... This is where it gets interesting. I have never had to replace the battery in a car before so I was in for a treat. I dissconnected everything and took the battery out which didn't seem so hard at all, I loaded up my other car and headed to the local auto parts store. When i set the battery on the counter it started leaking everywhere and it got on my shirt which was not very fun. After an hour of waiting for the guys to find what I needed I finally got started on my way home. Upon my arrival I had to of course greet the family and the dogs(They won't leave me alont otherwise) so i could finally get to business. I started connecting everything in the right order, red to red, black to black and so on and so fourth til' finally it was the moment of truth. I jumped up into the monster and she started up with no problems. I was proud of myself. I had just changed my car battery for the first time with no troubles.
