A couple of friends and I rode our vintage Harleys up the road from my place in Fullerton, California to Giovanni's Pizza on Harbor and Imperial  last wednsday night  for some food and to check out their long running weekly cruise night.

'47 Chevy truck

We got there a little late and hungry. By the time we got out of the restaurant most of the vehicles had left save for a few chatty stragglers. I noticed a nice '47 Chevy 1-ton stake bed dually that brought back lots of good memories of my '48 GMC of the same setup. My truck wasn't as nice and was actually pretty original aside from the '55 GMC 248 six under the hood. That old truck was my daily driver for over a year and a half and even facilitated my move from Utah to California almost nine years ago. This is a whole 'nuther story and I have some great pictures to go along with it. I'll have to dig them up, scan them, and tell the story one of these days...
